RabidApe asked:
Recorded live, and edited for time on my virgin run of my new video software (haven’t figured it all out yet…)
I didn’t mean for it to be so wierded out. Somehow, the audio went out of sync, and I couldn’t figure it out, so I started throwing effects on to distract from that… ![]()
Somehow the audio resynced in the process, and I just said ‘aww, fuck it’ and left it. So there ya go.

ok
how about this
if god is the creator of everything and god can lift everything
CAN GOD CREATE SOMETHING HE CAN NOT LIFT?
HOLY SHIT I’m tripping balls here.
wtf? deleted the first half…
anyway, I’d said that I don’t believe in prayers answering in quite the same way, to make it short. Also, I was saying that if you wanted to hear what I had to say on matters of faith etc. then you could message me privately, ’cause it might take up too much space to just write it out in a bunch of messages
…sity or any other reason what I believe in particular, just send a private message!
I think it’s probably too long to put out in messages…
As far as the actual difference, there is a little inconsistency in that analogy. For instance, the means by which an “invisible” God does things are unseen, so to say “you know the jug of milk didn’t do it and God is the same” then that’s because you see what the jug of milk is doing and can see that it’s dead - but if God is, then you don’t see
Try praying to a jug of milk, and tell me what the difference is.

I don’t know, I’ve had prayers answered before…
c.e.p.r.e.l.e.x. = “cerebral emptiness proves prophecy refutes empty ‘logic’ eventually ‘x-rayed’.”
Daniel 12:4 ‘But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.’ yeah… most fortune cookies offer more accurate predictions than that.
What about atheist books juxtaposed with the religious books. Why do they remain a convenient exception? By the way, there is only one God who states “You shall have no other gods before me.” Since the biblical God is real (I am a former atheist) he alone backs up his prophecies by fulfilling them. Did you know that this God predicted the current, postmodern knowledge explosion in Daniel 12:4?
wow.
that’s about the bast damn comment I’ve gotten in a while!
This is excellent. Very poignant. Exactly correct. There aren’t many cultural monologues that future generations won’t laugh at in retrospect, but this piece will always be relevant, modern, and correct.
“do you have any idea by which criteria god chooses to answer a particular prayer and not others?”
Do you? I don’t really waste my time praying for things. Both my parents died in the last 3 years. The only thing I ever put out there was to hope for the strength and guidance to make meaningful decisions where there were no answers. We give it our best shot and live with our decisions. It’s humbling and you learn.
“but there are certain things that most sensible human beings consider ”evil”, such as murder and rape.”
If one comes from a purely scientific standpoint of myth verses what is provable there is nothing to back it up. It is strictly belief. “good” and “evil” are inventions just like “gods” “love”. For myself science is a tool and hardly the measure of what is.
Yes, there are some moral standards in the ten commandments that are still held today, such as ”thou shall not kill” and ”thou shall not kill”. That does not mean that the bible is the source of these valuations.
That’s a rather nihilistic view of the world, anything goes with that kind of mentality. Sure there is no absolute standard of morality, but there are certain things that most sensible human beings consider ”evil”, such as murder and rape.
“its sad that religion isnt about a spiritual connections but to fuel scare mongers and ego and pride.”
This, my friend, is human. Religions have nothing to do with the basic underlying behavior patters of human animals. Emotions that drive us are more basic and existed long before any religious thought ever occurred in the human animal. They drive all humans equally. No one is immune to their nature.
Evil is a matter of perspective. To define a god in terms of “evil or not evil” or with respect to the concept of good and evil is assuming a clear definition of good and evil or a “god” As a rational atheist one must rationalize and deal with facts. Good and evil are imaginary concepts only existing within the mind of the individual and cannot rationally be discussed.
There is no historical evidence of neither Jesus nor Moses. There is no archaeological evidence that the ancient Hebrews wondered in the wilderness for 40 years. For some strange reason the pyramids were not affected the so called world wide flood. Genesis 1 says that Man and woman were created at the same time while Genesis 2 says that Adam was created first. Doesn’t sound like a reliable bible to me.
all bullshit … i dont belive in god, and i know that morals comes from bible. just read the 10 comandments, few things have changed. We r still living in a cave-man world when it comes to ethics, with all tecnology we still with exploration of the poor and we cant solve the majority of our personal problems without help of psicologists, psiquiatrists or drugs.
so true!!! there are so many bibles that differ out there so who is right? what i was taught was one thing that is rarely shown by christians on here and thats god love us all… who is right??? its sad that religion isnt about a spiritual connections but to fuel scare mongers and ego and pride.
The burden of proof is not on people to disprove the bible, but on theists to prove the bible’s claims.
Although the bible has been disproven many times already, especially the Genesis creation story.
do you have any idea by which criteria god chooses to answer a particular prayer and not others?
being omniscient can put you at a disadvantage. look at my last video to see how. omniscience creates a number of paradoxes.
excellent video. you seem to express my opinions but with some intelligence and being abel to convey your thoughts.
Better? How so? Clearly eliminating religion would lead to open minds, eliminate racism, ensure that despotic leaders could never come to power. Clearly it’s so simple.
