Finally have both the time and some new weather to show what I’ve been working on for the last two years - my SECOND Delorean Time Machine. If you didn’t get the hint within the first 2 minutes or so - I’m not done with it yet
Essentially, this starts Phase 3 of my Delorean Journey. I’m now going to go back and update certain parts of my car to be even more accurate than they are now. Expect better, more detailed updates with info that WILL help you on your own conversion.
No sales, no false claims, no gimmicks or any of that other ’stuff.

WOW you got the sound effects and everything man - AWESOME! It would be real cool if your input destination made the key tones as well (you can probably do this easily)!
To answer your question, in the movie they had a pod (replicating the cockpit of the car) with a certain half of the car cut away, so they could fit all the camera equipment in it, and a few guys shake the pod while filming so it looks like the car is driving on a road.

No worries. I can understand. The Time Circuit Handle is actually the same identical part they used in the film. Originally it was a batterly post and terminal cleaner from PepBoys. They still make em.

Hey, I have an idea for something you could work on, and it’s something I don’t think I’ve seen anybody tackle in any of the BTTF replica videos I’ve seen.
Why don’t you try making a replica of Doc’s remote control thingie he used when Einstein was in the car? And if you really wanted to get crazy you could try to figure out how to make it actually functional. (Although, that would probably be prohibitively expensive.)

No need to be defensive. I meant some of the parts look different. Like the time circuit control handle seems to long on the ends. I’m no expert and not tryin’ to be arrogant or anything. I’m just a little nitpicky on things like that. I’ve built 5 DeLorean models as a kid, so I always have an eye for those kinds of things.
